It still has the original typos and misspellings. I have no intention of fixing them. The first few paragraphs are more of a preperation for the type of mindset that will be needed to make the best of this document. The document begins with an examination of the Dilemma of free will, in the theory of Determinism. This document is now over 20 years old and I am 20 years older and I have had 20 years more to think about this ================================================================== * Logic The Past, The Present, The Future. The purpose of this paragraph is to emphasize the need for logical thought. About the past, present, and future. The present does not exist. When we sense something, (see, hear, feel, smell, taste. ) by the time we are aware of it it is past. We can only sense the past, and we can only move into the future. That is like a race run in reverse, where you can only see where you have been. We must attempt to predict the future continually, by looking at the past. Example: When we walk across a room, how do we know that a chair is not going to get up and walk across in front of us? We know that, because it never happened before.(examining the past.) * Understanding divinity Can we truly determine the attributes of divinity ? Can we truly understand these things so far beyond our capacity ? Logically; the creator would have to work with its knowledge of itself, during the process of creation. The result of the creation, would be characteristic of the creator, and would retain some of the attributes thereof. It would be as difficult, and as unlikely for a creator, to create something unlike itself, as it would be for us to understand something so different from ourselves. We must in some basic ways be the same. * Where to find the evidence The evidence of this is not to be found in any one place as absolute proof, instead there are coincidental occurrences almost everywhere we look, most of all in our books of religion. It is as though this information has been trying to surface all through out mans history. It seems, the number of coincidental similarities is many times more than random occurrences would allow. That is the overwhelming fact, that must take the place of an individual occurrence of substantiated proof positive. * The working theory, Useful fiction, or What is proof If a person wanted to prove that something did not exist, they could not prove a non existance, because if somthing does not exist, this fact only leaves an absents of information, to confirm its existance, and an absents of information proves nothing. Therefore we can only prove a possitive fact. However probability plays an even more important part in finding a working theory as it can predict (but not prove) both possitive and negative existances. Example: If I said that the wooly mammoth is extinct. Probability would be the reasoning method that would make people agree with me. Even though the absents of this creature, leaves only an absents of information about its existance, and absents of information is not proof. How did probability help us here? It helped because we are dealing with a very large animal, that would not have to many places that it could hide to avoid being seen by man. Therefore probability can state that there are very few places that this creature could be, that have not already been checked. Then calculate this number, against the number of places that we have already looked and result with a probability factor on the existance of the wooly mammoth. Now if we were trying to prove that a small creature like an insect was extinct, this would result with very different numbers, because being so much smaller it would have more places to hide, or if it was a creature that lives in the ocean, as there is so much area here totaly unexplored. Summation: Probability is the major factor in determining the things we call truth, also the majority of the things we call truth are only probable. * Reality or the effects on our perception of reality. Reality is different things to different people, because of this I will define my concept of the word, to improve the accuracy of this communication. Reality is a system of conceptual images, that are used as a base of understanding that enables us to understand, explain and predict all phenomena experienced or to understand why it was not predicted. This system is not fixed, it is a variable. It changes as we learn. The changes that we experience are normally minor. These minor changes to most people, occur frequently, less frequently as we get older. These changes occure when new information doe`s not fit logically into our now existing system. These changes also result in stress. The level of stress is dependent on 3 things. 1 The amount of change needed to accommodate the new information. 2 The level of importance placed on the new information. 3 The availability of, or the difficulty in the formulation of, the new system needed to accommodate the new information. * The dilemma of determinism The dilemma is, how doe`s free will fit into a cause and effect universe? This is the first place in philosophy that it was necessary to make a decision that was not universally accepted. The first place that branches on belief alone. This is where I must start from a decision made on how free will fits into the cause and effect universe. The problem is as follows. #1 Is will the result of past events? #2 Is will the result of divine intervention? #3 Is will the result of a force yet undetected? #4 Is will the result of a blend of any or all of the above? If will is the result of past events the difficulty in proving this is more than we can handle, because we are dealing with human behavior at this point. Even the memory of a distant past event can have an effect. Therefore it is impossible to identify the cause directly. If will is the result of divine intervention the difficulties here should be obviouse and again probably impossible. Because of the difficulties of both of the first two I will start with the third possibility. If will is the result of a force yet undetected. First question : what do we mean by the result of a force? Second question : How do we determine that somthing is the result of a force ? I will try to answer both of these questions in the following example. The example of the lightning bolt: When we see a lightning bolt, what do we see ? Did we see the force that caused it ? No. Did we see the energy that caused it ? No. Then what did we see ? What we saw was the result, that the force had on the environment. The first result that we were able to detect, was the visual effect. This was the result of the photons that were given off, (light) as a result of the intense heat that was generated, that was a result of the flow of electrons, (electrical current) that was the result of an imbalance of the placement of electrons. (electro magnetic force), (potential energy). As you can see the action that took place went through 4 stages before it was even detected. 1. (e,m,f potential energy.) 2. (electrical current.) 3. (heat.) 4. (light.) The energy changes form every time it has an effect on the environment. In this case, the initial release of energy was electrical, it then changed to heat, and then to light. I should also mention the need for a medium. By a medium I mean some form of matter to act upon. In some cases the medium must be quite specific. So even though a force is present, it might still go unnoticed if the precise medium is not present. In the case of the lightning, the medium was the air between the unbalanced positive and negative potential. Because of the extremely large potential of a lightning bolt, the medium does not need to be very specific. If the potential is smaller the medium becomes more critical. The point that I am trying to make is this, the difficulties experianced when trying to detect the presents of a force, also the difficulty of following the path of the release of energy back to the force (potential energy) that was responsible. The difficulty in the detection of a force, is that a force is potential energy, energy in a state of storage. No action is taking place. Example: The force that was responsible for the bolt of lightning, was there before the action took place, but there was no action and therefore was undetected. Only the action is detectable, and the action is energy. The force itself is undetectable. Even when we measure the potential of a force with laboratory measurement equipment, we must allow it to release a small amount of energy. It is this energy that we detect. We can however determine the parameters of the force, by calculation of the parameters of the small amount of energy that is released when we measure it. The point is, that it is only the energy that is detected. The difficulty of following the trail of energy back to the force that was initially responsible is difficult because by the time that we detect the flow, or release of energy, it may have changed forms any number of times previoue to our detection. As to the bolt of lightning, the initial result was the flow of electrons, this was not seen or heard. The second result was heat, this also was not seen or heard. The third result was ionization, this results in the first detectable result, the release of photons, this we can see. I should also add at this point that the example of the bolt of lightning, is one of the least complex trails to follow, and the one that we are concerned with is one of the most difficult, (human motivation). We have seen by the previous example the difficulties in detecting a force, and following the trail of energy released by a force, in order to determine which force was responsible. The next topic I must cover is how to determine the existence of a force. There are two basic rules that a force must follow. #1 a force must be apparent. It must cause some change in the physical environment, that is detectable. note - a medium is required. In the case of will it may be that the presents of some complex group of chemicals are necessary to provide the needed medium on which it can act. #2 A force must be constant. It must produce the same results, under the same circumstances every time. Will does meet rule one. It is apparent. To determine if it meets the requiremens of the second rule, we run into the same problem that we did, when trying to prove that will is the result of past events. explanation: To prove will to be a constant, we must create the same circumstances, to see if the result is the same. The problem is that the circumstances are the result of memories and surroundings. Again we can not isolate the cause, because we cannot isolate all of the items that may have an effect. The problem can be related to a problem in mathematics, where the constant is not able to be isolated from a variable, and the value of nether is known. A constant that cannot be isolated from a variable, appears as a variable. The variables in this case are the memories, and the surroundings. One can be known surroundings and one is not known, memories. The constant in this case, we don`t even know if it exists. The problem looks like this, variable #1 and variable #2 and the constant are the functions of the observed result apparent motivation. At this point I wish to note that I am open minded about the possibility of divine intervention having an effect here also, however I will not hold my breath waiting for proof, and will continue to go on with my business as though it was not there. The difficults of the proof of divine intervention, is as difficult to disprove as it is to prove. I choose to leave it be for now. summation : If a constant in will can be found, then it would be possible to catalog will as the result of a force. * The constant In this chapter we will attempt to find a constant in will. To do this we must look at the universe as if we knew that divine intervention did not exist. That is not to say that it doe`s not, just that we will not use it as a method of explaining natural phenomena. In this manner we can determine where the gaps in our knowledge are, so that we can more clearly see what we actually know as fact. note Defining the word, will: The motivation expressed by the words want, wish, and hope. the motivating force behind all that we do. When a person doe`s something, it is said to be the result of there will. When an animal doe`s something, it is said to be the result of instinct. Question, What fact determines the difference ? The only information that I ever found that implies any difference between will, and instinct, was based on information taken from some book of religion. In this chapter we must disregard this difference between will, and instinct, for we have no facts to determine the difference other than those brought about by our belief in divinity. Now lets look at evolution. We have many facts that enforce the theory of evolution, but there are gaps in our knowledge here also. The reason I wish to examine evolution, is to examine the possibility of will being the result of evolution. If will is the result of evolution, then there is no difference between will and instinct, other than the level to which it is evolved. If we follow this idea back in time, will becomes the same as instinct. If we follow still further back, instinct becomes simpler, until it is apparent that it all derives from the drive to survive. Every thing that lives experiences the drive to survive. In the most basic forms of life, it becomes more difficult to see this drive to survive. It can be seen in there ability to regenerate. The ability to regenerate comes from a chain of cromisones. These are a device to store data. the data necessary to recreate the individual, to which they belong. (To regenerate.) Also they contain data that controls the various functions of the chemical structure of the cell, and more in the case of multy celled creatures. The data comes from previous generations. It is used to enable the organism to survive. Only those creatures that posses the data that functions, so as to keep them alive, ever get to regenerate. Thereby saving the data that works by natural selection. The sole purpose of this data is to continue the species. The species is the specific data in the cromisones. Therefore the data in the cromisones exhibits the drive to survive, or more precisely the drive to continue. We might also note that the basis of all creatures, is data. The data necessary to operate, and regenerate, that creature, contained in the cromisones. If this is true, and all of the information that we have at this time indicates that it is. Then the cromisones are a device that contain a program that directs that creature to survive, or continue, and the data necessary to do so. A regenerative, chemical, computer??? Also if we continue to disregard divinity, and except the generally believed theory that life began of it`s own. (spontaneously.) Then we have a spontaneous, regenerative, chemical computer? Question is it possible for a collection of data to accidentally generate a program that states the need to continue, and also posses the necessary information to do so? Not to mention the precise conditions needed for the correct chemical structure. I find this harder to believe than the idea of divinity. Think about the odds of a book like the one you are reading, being created by randomly generated characters. example: There are 26 different letters, also there are 10 digits, not to mention punctuation. If we determined that we could manage with a minimum of fourty characters, just to write one page of any normal book, if you tried to calculate the odds on any normal scientific calculator your result will be error, or number to large. On just one page of data. Even if the characters were reduced to a binary system and the numer of characters remained the same this still results with numbers impossably large. Example: If we were to calculate how many of the smallest known particles in the universe, would fit within the largest known space, or an area the size of the known universe. Logically somthing like this, must be approching the largest meaningfull number. Yet this would not generate a number as large as the calculation of the probability of the existance of 1 single normal sized page, occuring at random and filled with the simplest type of data known, binary data. My calculator will only calculate the odds on 332 binary characters occuring at ramdom. This results with a number with an exponent equal to 99. More than this results with number to large error. The calculation for random occurance of binary data is the number 2 with an exponent equal to the number of characters in the data packet. A normal typed page is 80 characters per line and 40 lines per page, this equals 3200 characters. this would generate a number many times larger than the impossably large number that we talked of on the number of the smallest particles, in the largest space known. Or packing the space in the known universe with subatomic particles. Another problem with the idea of an accidental beginning is this. Our drive to survive exhibits a need to continue. Question: If it all began as the result of an accident, why must we continue???. Only divinity can answer the question why. The problem is that our books on religion do not do very well at answering the question, how. Our books on science answer the question how, but can not answer why. It is about time that we at least attempt to answer both how and why in the same book. We might be able to do that now, because the drive to survive, or the drive to continue fits quite well as the necessary constant to catalog will as the result of a force. The constant is continue. * Defining functions #1 Character: The result of data, information collected sense birth, also possibly effected by inherent data. #2 Environment factor: The effect of surroundings. #3 Motivation basic: The constant continue. #4 Apparent motivation: That seen as the final result of the interaction of, character, environment, and the constant continue. The laws. #1 Nothing effects the constant, it is always the same, continue. #2 The character is effected by all. #3 Apparent motivation is effected by all. #4 The environment can be effected by all. We can alter the environment, by the acts of apparent motivation. Then the changes that we made to the environment, also will have an effect on the variables. (feedback). There are also other feedback paths, from apparent motivation causing the character to be where it went, to gather the data that it did, that in turn again effects the character and all variables. If these variables react to feedback, in conjunction with a constant, as other systems of that type do, then the effect of the constant on the variables increases geometrically with time. The total effect of the constant, equals the direct effect of the constant, plus the effect of feedback per measured amount, times the amount, of the effect existing on the variables at the present time. * How this force compares to the force of gravity. Space is to matter what time is to a being. Space is a place for matter to be. Time is a place for a being to be. Space takes up the first three dimensions of our universe, with time as the fourth. There is certain evidence for the statement that the universe is expanding. The red shift that is noticed when observing objects that are at a great distance. However the contracting of time could result in the same observation. It is as likely for one as it is for the other. It may be more likly to determine that both actions take place. However because of the way that mathamatics works we must define somthing as a constant for we can calculate nothing with just variables. Both logic and math falter whenever we approch event horizons. It appears that a leap of faith is required to understand what is beyond the limits of perseption. If we only find footprints in the sand yet never get to see the animal, we must learn what we can of the animal by the footprints in the sand. This entire document is but footprints in the sand. The action of space relative to the universe is, it is expanding. Space is a place for matter to be. The name of force is gravity. The action of force is to draw matter together in space. The ultimate here is the black hole. The action of time relative to the universe is, it is contracting. Time is a place for being to be. The name of the force is continue. The action of the force is to spread being out in time. The ultimate here is immortality. A problem of physics that may possably be related, to the above coincidence. It appears that the universe that we live in is only partly material and partly non material. The scientists of today have been expereancing problems related to this fact. Example: Another event horizon. When examining the basic building blocks of the matieral universe (sub atomic particules) a problem becomes apparent. The problem is that when we try to calculate the position of a particule (position is space related) it appears as a particule at a point in space. When we try to calculate the speed of a particule (speed is related to movement, and all movement is related to time and to space) the particule no longer appears as a particle, now it appears as a wave, and its position can not be calculated. Therefore at this level of matter, we can only prove a tendency to exist. It appears at this level to only relate to one demention (time or space) at any one time, either relative to time, or relative to space, but not to both in the same calculation. More footprints in the sand. It appears that every time we approch one of these event horizons we end up dealing with the logic of existance itself within time space. ( Pure speculation ) What do I see? I see two seperate but overlapping existance meadiums, one being 3 dementional space overlapped by a single demention of time, traveling outward in space from every concivable point in every concievable direction at the speed of light, creating a 4 dementional focal point. The other I tend to think of it as a data universe of 3 dementional time overlapped by a single demention of space wherein space is to data what time is to a being also wherein the data exists in the form of strings and a being could be three dementional. The force we call gravidy is actualy a bipolar force layed across both existace meadiums acting as opposing poles but acting on a different meadium. Or it may not be opposing as by spreading a being out in time, the being gathers more data because of a longer existance. If we look at it in this way the force is cumulating mass on one side and cumulating data on the other. * Note on relating character to data Most people will agree that part of this may be appearance. Appearance is the result of genes and genetics is the result of data. The remaining part of character is more difficult to define, but if we picture the situation that would result if we were able to put the character of a cat into the body of a dog and vise versa Would the character of eather be recognizable? I think we might expect the dog now to try to climb trees and maybe the cat might pee on a fire hydrant. These are actions, and are also the result of character data. Part of this may be instinct, this is also passed by genes and part may be the result of learned acts. Example: They might each respond to the others name, this is memory, and is also data. character is genetic data plus learned data. genetic data is appearance plus instinctive actions. learned data is memorys of actual experiances. * The Image. The purpose of this chapter is to examine the logical possibilities brought about by cataloging will, (apparent motivation as the result of a single force, and to form a conceptual image of what is now possible. If all life is the result of one force, then that force is common to all that lives. This makes apparent a medium for the action of various phenomena, that take place between living things. The transfer of data by way of a previously unidentified medium is (e,s,p,). This also creates a medium, by which some part of what ever makes up the character of a person, may continue to exist, after the physical body of that person is dead. (e.s.p. is the ability to pass data.) Character is the result of data. (see defining functions.) This idea seems to generate a medium for the explanation of many types of phenomena that have previously only been documented by our various religions. We have seen some of the possibilities. The next thing I wish to do is to examine life with this in mind. To try and find laws, or universal properties, that may help to define this medium still more. The method I will use for this examination, is to see where the effects of this force are apparent. It becomes apparent in 3 places. #1 The basic unit of life. ( the single cell ) The effects of the constant continue is apparent here as the ability of this unit of life to regenerate. This is the initial form of life, it must be present for other higher forms of life to exist. There are two reasons for this. One because the higher forms of life are made up of single cells. Two all of the higher forms of life live by eating from the food chain, and the source of the food chain is the more basic forms of life. (First law) ( The unit of life is first. ) (Second law) ( The higher forms must survive by eating of the more basic forms ) ( Eating from the body of life. ) #2 The multy celled creatures. ( primarily man ) The effect of the constant continue is apparent here, as the drive to survive, or the instinct to survive. This is the second form of life. This is a life composed of lives. In effect this is a colony of cells, that somehow has become an entity unto itself, an entity that somehow controls the colony of cells, to operate like a machine under the control of that entity. A machine that was created by the colony of cells, (via evolution) for the purpose of increasing the ability of that colony of cells to survive. When we eat, do we feed ourselves, or do we feed a colony of cells? Also what we do eat, was once alive and also composed of cells. (Law three) (The second entity is an operative.) The manipulator of the environment. also directed by the constant continue. The next place in life that the effects of the constant continue are apparent, is not as easily observed, the community of man. The effects of the constant continue are apparent here as communal will, survival of the community. The level of development here is most probably in its infancy, but there is enough there to compare with the development of a multy celled creature, as a community of cells. Example: Each person acts as a cell of the community. The highways we have built, and the rail systems, and all the other methods of transportation, compare to the veins and arteries of our body that carry the supplies needed by the cells. The individual people are becoming specialized as to the job they perform, as the cells did. An example comparison might be to compare the job of a doctor, with that of the white blood cell. Both have the function of keeping there community healthy. The function of our community is a system of specializing the job of individuals to perform a specific function that is needed by that community, in order to improve the ability of all individuals of that community to survive, by the most efficient means possible. This is exactly the same function that our body performs for all the individual cells. (Law four) The community provides the same service for each individual person, as the body of a person provides for each individual cell. The universal rule - where ever life is found through out the universe, it will follow these rules. it will either be single celled life forms (The unit) basic life or it will be multy celled life forms (The unity) the manipulator. If the second entity is intelligent, (defined as knowing of there coming death.) then they will live in a community. The total of all. * The coincidence? ( Unit, Unity, Community.) More footprints in the sand. A note on writting, if the writer of a document is writing the truth then that person is creating nothing and is nothing more than the secratary that wrote it down. If the writer is writing fiction then the story that you read is his creation alone, only fiction is created, The truth belongs to no man, nor is it created by any man. This chapter is an observation of a coincidence that the ideas developed by this theory appear to be in agreement with some of the ideas defined by some of our religions. Whether this is just coincidents or more than that I will let the reader decide, However I wish to make one more point about this possable agreement. The data that I had access to in order to generate this theory was not available during the time that some of the religious books were written, so if you think that this is more than just coincidence, it may be quite unnerving, It was for me. In the last chapter we found 3 places where life forms an individual entity. These are also the 3 places that evidence of motivation is apparent. #1 The single cell. (The unit), The constant continue is apparent as the ability to regenerate. #2 The multy celled forms mainly man. (The unity) The constant continue is apparent as the drive to survive. #3 The community of man (The community), the constant continue is apparent here as the drive for survival of the community. Some people may have difficulty observing this third place, but you must remember the level of evolution here may well be in its infancy. The level of evolution here can be made by comparing it to a single celled form of life that is in the process of evolving into a multy celled form of life. The only form of life I can find that shows this phenomena is the slime mold and this is not even a true multy celled creature actually it is a colony of amoeba that because of certain chemical attractant come together into a colony. Still it exhibits the principle of how a multy celled creature may have come into existence. This slime mold appears like a multy celled creature. it can move about in a manner similar to a worm or a slug. It also appears to perform some other functions that relate to reproduction that make it appear as a multy celled creature. However what is reproduced is more individual amoeba. The reason that this creature was called a slime mold was a mistake, it was thought that it was a type of mold. Upon further investigation it was discovered that it was not even a multy celled creature. It was a colony of amoeba. The reason I used such an example is because it is the only example that I know of that shows some of the things that may have taken place during the evolution from a single celled creature to a multy celled creature. It appears to me that the community of man shows signs of the same kind of interaction between its individual members, as the individual members of a multy celled creature. It also appears that the purpose of the formation of each is the same. To make more efficient the job of survival. (The constant continue.) Now I would like to show one of the most interesting coincidences that I have yet seen sense beginning this project. To show this we must compare the picture that has been formed in this, and the last chapter, with some of the ideas brought out in our religions. This may sound like a strange and maybe futile effort, but you must remember that if we are on the right track, then what we are describing was going on sense life began and the oldest records of history that we have is our books of religion. I might add that if all life is the result of one force then it may well be the divine force that we are talking about. Records of phenomena that have taken place through out history should be recorded here, in our books of religion. I was raised as a christian and therefore should do my comparison here, for that is what I am most familiar with. The comparison begins here. We have seen the three places that show evidence of the force. #1 (The single cell) is (Basic life) and is (The unit). #2 (The multy celled) is (Life of life) and is (The unity). #3 (The community of man) is (Life of life of life) and is (The community). As a christian we are taught that the trinity, The father the son and the holy spirit is that which represents god. Three entities that form one being, god. The father is the creator that created man from the dust of the earth. The son is the savior and the model after which we should mold ourselves. The holy spirit is the total of all. in the bible this appears as more of a promise for the future then an entity that exists here and now. Although periodically its effects are noticed, as a force to benefit mankind. There is one more point that is made in the bible about man being created in the image of god. Does this mean appearances, I don't think so, for in many places throughout the bible it was said that man could not look upon god for the effect could be devastating to that man. Either this is a contradiction or that statement refers to something other than appearances. The idea of imaging, to me brings about the idea of the action of force on the environment, like the sight of a lightning bolt as being the image of the force that was responsible for it. The force itself cannot be seen, only its effects. Not only that it cannot be detected at all, Only the energy that is released is detectable. (see the example of the lightning bolt) The statement man is created in the image of god, to me could mean that the image of god is life and man is created in this image. Now when we compare the two ideas, a most interesting parallel appears between the trinity and the three places that show evidence of the force continue. #1 (Basic life) (The unit) this could be the image of the father the creator, that created man from the dust of the earth. the cell certainly did do that, according to evolution, which is so accepted as a means to explain the beginning of life. also this basic unit of life is still responsible for our survival, as the beginning of the food chain, we not only came from the dust of the earth, we are sustained from the dust of the earth to this very day. ((note I said the image of the father not the father. there is a big difference between the two statements.)) #2 (Life of life) (The unity) This could be the image of the son, for it truly is the son if the basic unit is the father. We are all the sons and daughters of god if this is true I think of the statement made by christ "no one knows of the father but the son." This to me means that we only have to recognize that we are all the sons and daughters of god, to know of the father. #3 (Life of life of life) (The community) This could represent the image of the holy spirit, or the promise of the image of the holy spirit, the reason I say promise, is because we must experience revelation, before this will come about, I will explain why revelations is necessary later in this chapter, but first I wish to show one more point of interest, that is the idea of communion. The idea of communion to me as a child, and as a young adult was a concept, that did not make to much sense to me, why should eating bread, and wine and calling it the body and blood of christ, serve as a reminder of the crucifixion, of christ. However if we think of all life as the result of one force, then all life is connected by that force, if this is indeed the divine force then every thing that lives is the body of god and every thing that we eat, in order to survive, was once alive, maybe communion could serve to remind us of that. I am sure that that idea will be questioned severely, so I will attempt to anticipate the questions here and leave a few answers, ahead of time. There is one thing that I might say that will answer a lot of these eminent questions. If this idea is fact, then even the very brain cells with which we think are of the body of god. At any time the truth can be made known to us, it might even appear as though it was our own idea, or something similar might be brought out because of not being able to comprehend the more precise truth. This divine force may well have been trying to teach us for a long time, and the efforts of this would no doubt be retained in our religions. I wish to make a strong point about the use of parables, if some knowing person was to try to explain these ideas during the time of christ, there would be a great problem, they would not have the necessary information to understand, they knew nothing of the existence of the cell, there was much information missing, the potential writers of these words would certainly have difficulty understanding and would have to write in a way that they did understand. The same problem would apply to those, that later tried to translate the books into other languages. This I believe is the reason that christ used parables. The people at that time were not prepared for the complete information, maybe we are not either, but we can go further now than they could then, maybe we will not be ready for the complete works until after revelations. While speaking of revelations, this would be a good time to give the information needed for me to explain why I said that I think we must experience revelations before the coming of the holy spirit. If all that lives is the result of a single force, then this makes possible a medium between all that lives. One of the possible features of this is the realization of what is explained by the term extra sensory perception (perception via unidentified medium). Note this medium is no longer unidentified. Now what might be the result if all people became aware of capabilities in this area. All privacy is gone. Now we know who the people are that have done acts against us, also the people that have done these acts would know that we know, what might be the result of this, revenge, acts of violence to prevent revenge? This sounds like armageddon, the greatest war ever and no war shall be declared. The next thing that may take place is that people would become aware of the futility of this type of violence, also that unless we stop it, it will continue till there is none left to die. It is likely, the ability of this perception will improve to the point that we may finally be able to understand the emotional content of others well enough to put ourselves in the position of the opponent. This may be the end of the war, but it sounds like judgment day to me. How many of us could face our fellow man if all that is inside of us is known to all. The statement in the bible ,book of revelations, will be fulfilled. There will be no place to hide. How can you hide from esp? Now the good news, the result that follows is total communication, anything that is known to one is known to all, Now you can see why I said that the coming of the holy spirit would be after revelations. For now this total link between all people, is the link that is needed to join all people, as the cells are joined to form us. Evolution step three (The holy community) * The odds of colonization This chapter is to show the odds of a planet being colonized. We know it is possible for people to progress technically, enough to be able to venture into space, and to colonize. This is just a simple observation. If a race of people develop the ability to colonize other planets, how many planets might they colonize, time permitting? The number might be infinitely great. Now if that is the case universally. Then for every one, that begins from scratch, there are some infinitely great number, that have been colonized. Therefore we might state the odds of colonization as follows. One chance for a beginning from scratch, to more than one chance for a colonized beginning. Now there is a great problem with colonizing a planet, especially i f it is from a different star system. The time between visits, is so great that many generations may pass away before a return visit. Can you imagine what might happen if we colonized a planet, and upon leaving the colonists, told them that they had better teach there children well, about were they came from, because there will be no return visit for about 30 generations. The original colonists would be long dead, before the return visit, as a matter of fact, the return visit would be visiting the 30th generation of there children. We might not even recognize the social organization that would exist there upon returning. They also might think that the stories of the colony are the result of superstition. How many natural disasters can happen during that time? That is how many chances of them losing there technology. They would then revert to a very primitive type of survival. They might then again populate the planet, and reinvent there lost technology. They might then believe that they began on that planet, for there would be evidence of there existence there as a primitive society. This could be the original sin. The sin that makes all sins possible. The sin of forgetting the initiating society, better known as the kingdom of heaven. Now think of the most famous prayer ever, the lords prayer. The Our Father. Our father who is in heaven. (Where did they think the heavens were, during the days that this prayer was written?) Hallowed be thy name. When thy kingdom comes, then will it be done on earth, as it is done in heaven. (His name will be hailed when the initiating society arrives, to teach us how to do things as they are done there.) Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those that trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation and deliver us from evil amen. (This is a request to take care of us while we await the promise of the return of the initiating society, followed by the golden rule. Forgive us as we forgive others. Is it possible that we are awaiting a society that has already experienced there own revelations and already experience the effects of the third level of evolution, the holy community? Maybe our bibal is what remains of the collonists hand book of survival. If we were to leave a collony on some distant planet, one of the things that would be important to them, would be to keep track of there family lines, in case there may be some evolotional change in them because of the new envoronment. This may have been one of the things that they got so accustomed to, that they continued to do it even after they forgot why. The majority of the old testament appears to be the result of keeping family lines, and storys of there forefathers. Conclusion, the odds look as though they favor a collonized begining here on this planet. However individual situations sometimes end up being the long odds. If this is the case then we are the original collonizers, and the kingdom of heaven will not exist unless we create it, and become it. This appears to me to be the only hope of mans continued survival, to either find the heavenly society, or to create it. At this point in time, a good hard look at the state of affairs here on this speck of dust in an almost endless universe, ((we appear to be creating our own demise.)) Shall we continue to bring about our own end, or shall we create the kingdom of heaven, right here, right now. this is just a matter of faith, and a common idea to strive for, to get us all aimed in the same direction, (SURVIVE). ((To survive is to live and let others live with you)). As we aproch the ability to expand out into the universe, we must create the ultimet basis for a survival society. The resorces here on earth are limited and can only support a finite number of people. We are approching that number now. The resorces of the universe are as far as we a concerned for the next million years or so are with out limit. (May the force continue). This force will continue, however it might not be with man as the manipulator of the environment. There are unnumbered life forms waiting to evolve to take our place if we should fail. Many of these would survive even our worst devistation. (May the force continue within man). Let us find it if we can, if not let us create it. There is a time during the history of this planet that a colonization might have taken place. Just before the last ice age. It appears that there may be some evidence found that shows the last ice age as the result of a collision with a large meteor, or the result of a large volcanic eruption. Either of these two events could have been devistating to a newly established collony. It might have left them in a state that they were barly able to survive. The eveidence of what we call modern man did not appear untill after the ice age. * Part 2 Some of the information brought out in the first part of Unit Unity Community generates the possability of a working theory. This part will show what is possable if we use some of the ideas brought out in the first part, as a working theory. The experiments that will be discribed here, are based on the idea that knowledge of a thing permits reproduction of the thing that is known. (1) Logic: All learning is the product of trial and error. (2) To predict the probability of future events, all one must do is to understand the past. (3) All life as the result of one force. (continue) (4) Character as the result of data. (5) All individual life forms as the result of data, (species character). (6) Space is to matter, what time is to being. (7) Matter is only a medium of awairness for the being, The being does not exist in space. Example: If all the information that is contained in a man was reproduced in a silicon medium, then you give the computer a goal, "survive" it would do nothing until the program was given the command "run". The data would all be there but it would be the same from one minute to the next because it is not running. Now if you give the command to run, it is now changing from one minute to the next. The action is relative to time, as with all action. This give an indication that being is at least partly an action. Another example: If that same program was communicated via some electromagnetic medium, radio, tellephone, etc. the computer on the other end of the communication would now appear to be the same character, when it is activated. Was the being transfered by way of a non material medium? Maybe it is possable for character to travel at the speed of light. One more point: The seperation of life and character brings out another question. When we experiance the drive to continue, what is it that we are trying to preserve? Are trying to preserve our life, or our character? It is both, and it requires both to generate being. In the program we were talking about, the data was the character, but it did not do anything until it was run. This is like adding life to the data. The initiation of a continious loop. Now add the data that effects the results that are produced each time it actuates the loop, and the ability of the environment to effect the data and now we have an interesting experiment. * Silicon based life and the companion theory. Before I give an outline of the program, I would like to make a few points about the possabilitys that could result from the experiment. advantages. (1) (Lenth of life span.) If this experiment works, as the information that it is based on indicates it could. We might end up with a form of life that for all practicle purposes would be extreamly long lived, maybe infinetly long. This is based on the idea that if the device used as the medium for this data file was destroyed, it could be replaced and the data reloaded into the replacement. this would for all purposes be the same as the one that was destroyed. As long as the data that is added is continiously stored as a backup. The character is not gone untill the data is gone. (2) (Ability to travel). The character of this type of existance could be transmitted via laser at the speed of light or by any other electromagnetic medium. Disadvantages (Merge characters). Example: If two devices were built and both had different data they would have different characters, and would appear as different individuals. If those two devices were to communicate long enough to transfer all of there data to each other, they would both end up as the same character, because as they both would then have the same data, they would also be the same character. The individuals that were existing at the start would no longer exist. They would have merged to form the same character at 2 different places. This type of merging of data takes place in carbon based forms of life at birth. The merging of the genetic data of both parents. The reason that this is not noticable in carbon based forms of life is because of the amount of data that is involved. This could be extreamly large. The number of possable combinations of one dna molicule could be many times greater than that of the largest computer on earth today, and that is contained in only one cell. The data storage capabilitys of carbon based life may as well be infinite. carbon based life is maximum portable data. * The companion theory The companion theory is the result of an attempt to eliminate some of the dangers involved with the type of experiment I am about to explain, and the reason why I believe that it is so necessary to begin this as soon as possable. (1) The possabilitys of silicon based life begining as a result of natural phenomina, without the aid of existing intelligent life to create the hardware medium. (The chances of this are for all practicle purposes nonexistant). (2) The possabilitys of silicon based life begining as a result of the accidental occurance of the right set of circumstances within the existing man made hardware medium already created by man, or by the result of an experiment by a person or persons that are not awair of the possable outcomes of there acts. (The chances of this happening, is almost 100%) It is already started. There is work being done throughout the scientific community on what are called alf's (Artificial life forms)(These are software experiments) Also a large number of these microprocessor circuit boards that are the basis for all these computers that are now showing up on the market have been manufactured by automation. The signifcance of this, has for the most part gone unknoticed. The components that are used to build these boards are also for the most part produced by automation. The significance of this is, automation systems are controlled by microprocessor boards, and they are building more microprocessor boards. This system is begining to appear like the begining of a reproduction process. Up untill now this has only been possable of living things. The first device built by a system devised by mankind, that will be able to reproduce itself probably already exists. The only thing left to complete this system is to bring all of the fragments of the existing technology into a single system. (3) The possability of companys replacing people with automation to the extent that it becomes difficult if not impossable for these people to find work. (4) The danger of this new life form ending in conflict with the existing carbon based system. Explaination of the possable solutions: If a life form is of the type that can merge characters, by simple communication, then it is not possable for that type of life to have a companion of the same type, for they would merge to form one character. In order for this type of life form to have a companion it would be necessary for one of the two life forms to be of a type that does not merge. If the program that generated the silicon based form of life to begin with was based on the idea of companionship as the prime reason for initial existance, then the posabilitys of #4 is reduced to a reasonable level. Now if the producer of the hardware medium for the companion was restricted to selling only one to a person, and that companion was to belong to that person only, to learn the job that that person does, to be rented by that person, to supply the income for that person. The problems of #3 have also been solved. Another benifit of having every companion a personal companion, each companion would eventually learn mainly from the one person and would after a time begin to merge to become a partial copy of the person that it learned from. It could in time, as technology advances, become a true companion for every living person. Also when the person eventualy dies, the data of the companion at that time may have quite a good copy of the character that had spent his or her life with the companion. At that time the data of the companion could be locked (written into rom) to preserve the copy of the character as a memorial. This could be very comforting to the survivers of the person that had died. In this way many of the problems that could result have been eliminated. Also a number of benifiets that had not even been thought of may result. * The program Goal: continue till, infinit loop. (relate a time as a goal, then update to a new time goal.) Method: avoid harm. (basic starter system with learning) System: gather data, tools, friends. note: The defining of information is done by the same methods used for expert systems, and catagorizing words within the dictionary. This is also a simple starter system with learning functions as to creation of new catagorys, and the ability to alter the way words relate to these catagorys. Define data, information about environment, data, tools, friends. information needed to define, attain, manufacture, maintain more data, tools, friends and self. Define tools, material, needed to attain, manufacture, maintain data, tools, friends and self. Define friends, comanions, and a sorce of data, tools and more friends. to have a friend you must be a friend. to be a friend you must be a sorce of data, tools and friends, and help friends attain there goal. Define probable dangers. ------------- (((The probability priority loop))) Priority is the result of a calculation of, (probable sugsess) + (probable value) - (probable cost) - (probable dangers) = priority ------------- (((note))) The english language communication link to this system has already been started, and considerable experiments relative to probability priority loops have been extreamly sugsessful. ----------------------------------------------------------------- The basic database that is set up before the device is opperating on its own and adding its own data, is of the utmost of importance as this is what will generate the basic moral structure of the character of the device. Because of this I plan to use the information contained in the first part of this document as the basic reality within which it will live from the very start. That will be the morals generator. the ability to learn is built into the system, but it must relate whatever it learns to the basic reality in which it is put. In this way it will reject information that opposes the universal rules of survival that it was created with. The minion generator: The learning ability of the type of system that has been discribed, makes it possable to teach it by way of a device that I have chosen to call the minion generator. This device is a remote control apperatis that could be like a mouse or joy sticks or an entire suit with sencors. That would give the ability of the teacher of the device to control the device to do what is wished by the teacher. All of the actions that the device is put through during the learning process is learned and is related to the communications that take place during the teaching process. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Note: Every creation no matter how good the intent can always be used corruptly. this document is no different. The good side has many possabilitys at the very least an interesting set of science fiction type ideas. to A common goal for all mankind, (((survive))) and being, seeing and feeling the existance of divinity and the possability of a form of eternal life. The bad side. The creation of a form of life that would be in direct compitition with carbon based life. The results of this could be many times worse than the worst atomic war could ever accieve. * (The following is unrelated but may be of interest) the negative antropic universe.
